Hannah calls herself a passionate dreamer and a determined visionary. Heaven’s Gift, founded by Hannah Chong, has been the force behind one-of-a-kind weddings and celebrations in Singapore. The concept planner who does not believe in templated party and wedding designs, has created many spectacular events that feature elaborate details with intricate touches that are representative of each host’s unique style of entertaining.
Hannah is distinctly recognised for creating weddings and parties that are original, sophisticated and ones that are filled with exquisite taste and intricacy. She has staged some of the most talked about events such as Tatler Weddings, Real Estate Investment World Galas, and have created some talked about lavish wedding concepts namely, Cherry Blossom Fantasy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Cabaret Splendor and the English Extravaganza. In the last 12 years, Hannah and team have designed and organised more than 150 events and have cast their creative magic in her hometown Singapore, as well in cities as far as Bali, Chennai, Johor Bahru, Penang, Seychelles, Sri Lanka and Tokyo.
In 2009, Hannah was nominated for the Spirit of Enterprise. She is also awarded by Tatler as the Top Singapore Wedding Planner for the past consecutive 6 years. Many of her works were featured in Straits Times Paper, Business Times, Tatler Weddings, Icon Weddings, Prestige, Her World Brides, Female Brides, Style Weddings, as well as in one of the US popular bridal site – Style Me Pretty.
Prior to starting Heaven’s Gift, Hannah has been working in the corporate world for a decade. She was trained as a fashion bag designer for international brands such as Picard and Jane Shiltons. She then moved on to the advertising and agency arena, and finally ended up as the Group Account Director for Raytheon Professional Services, overseeing and developing the South East Asia business units, closing and project managing million dollar contracts. In her 20 years of career, she has inspired many in her industry, and have continued to spend time coaching the next generation of executives. In recent years, she has incubated and mentored a few start-ups, as her deepest desire is to see a rise of entrepreneurial spirit in the next generation.
